The main gun control stance appears to be removing most guns from everywhere and everyone. Is that a terrible thing? Not at the first glance, but there are those responsible people who own guns, collectors, hunters, sport shooters and other gun enthusiasts, who don’t care to do anything bad with their guns and the gun control ideas are going to hurt the activities they love.
The main point I want to get down here is how a lot of the gun control advocates aren’t stressing the right points when it comes to the need for gun control. There don’t seem to be the points that a few bad apples are ruining things for the good people and there isn’t enough focus on the removal of the opportunities for those bad apples to get their hold on guns, rather they are just going to take them all away.
There has to be a better balance for everything and everyone. Will the bad apples still be out there? Sure. You don’t see cars and trucks being taken away when a bad apple decides to run down some people of a different colour when they purposefully run them down in a van, do you?

08:56… just waiting for Mark.
11:16… well, that walk was a wet one. I asked Mark how it was outside when he showed up and all he replied with was “windy.” I had the Crescent Heights loop in my mind when he got here and that was the direction that we headed in.
It didn’t take too long before a crack of thunder happened in the sky and then I turned to Mark and asked, “what are the chances that I’m going to be sorry?” I was in shorts, a t-shirt and sandals and I was grateful for the sandals, because if I had socks on, it’s very likely that my feet would have froze and then I would have been sorry.
There was an unexpected sight under the C-Train bridge on Memorial Drive, there was a gent playing the piano. He was staying dry, but in a rainstorm on a Wednesday, it just didn’t make the most sense, but whatever.
We also got splashed by a car that hit a pretty good puddle on Memorial Drive, but neither of us really minded.
Mark was in pretty good spirits throughout the walk, we both had some pretty good laughs. I joked with him that he would complain to Brad about this walk and he quipped, “Brad, I didn’t sign up for this.” That got a pretty good laugh.
